What this muscle is
Connects to the fourth toe. Bends the joint at the base of the toe and straightens the joints in the toe.
Why it gets uncomfortable
The fourth toe grips the ground and straightens its toe joints; this little slip tires with it.
How it usually feels
Tight under the base of the fourth toe; hard to tell apart from the interosseous beside it, clearer when you curl the fourth toe.
What helps
Same for the fourth toe: grip once, then let go.
